This is a hard time for everyone. We have the pandemic and now the riots and looting. This time is wearing on our hearts and souls. I too have been affected in this. I am troubled with all the isolation and now the hate. It is affecting my creation of art. I go into my studio and just do not feel creative. Today, however, Daisy, my poodle, and I sat in the studio looking out my windows and a Cardinal couple came to the windows. The sweetness of this couple is beyond words. This filled my soul and made all the bad go away. Let me share with you the love of cardinals.
Cardinals mate for life. They love one another forever. You may see the male bring food to the female and feed her. They share in building the nest, as she may mostly build it, the male will bring her many materials to help provide. They have a love between them that moves other.
Cardinals are angels. A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you.
Cardinals and the Number 12. The number 12 is considered a lucky number by many Native Americans. The number 12 also is associated with the cardinal ... Native American lore holds that if you have encountered a cardinal, expect good luck to follow, possibly in 12 hours, 12 days, or at noon or midnight.
Cardinals are a sign of compassion. Some experts associate seeing one in your dreams with new hope and love. Their bright red color is a symbolic signpost of passion. This means you will dream of a cardinal a new romance is about to come into your life.
When I do my art festivals and sell a cardinal, there is always a wonderful story to the reason this cardinal has spoken to them. We believe in love, lost, current and future. Cardinals are a symbol of that.
In this time, try to believe in what makes you feel good, passionate, love. We all need to communicate with each other on this as well. If you know someone who needs a pick me up, give them a call. Reach out with love and compassion. Everyone needs it now. Everyone. I want to use this as a call to you to fill you with hope and positivity. We will get through all of this.
